Join us for an evening of reflection, dialogue, and celebration of Black resilience, joy, and liberation. The event includes a powerful panel discussion featuring Key Jo Lee, MoAD’s Chief of Curatorial Affairs; Elisha Greenwell, founder of Black Joy Parade; and Ericka Huggins, activist, educator, and former Black Panther leader — plus food, drink and access to the art gallery.

BASKETBALL MUSEUM
The Black Women's Basketball Museum is a private collection of 200+ memorabilia, jerseys, cards, and research centering Black women's contributions to the sport. The Museum launch on Feb 21st in Oakland will have an exhibit showcasing the collection, interactive displays, and guest speakers from the Women's Premier Basketball League sharing their experiences!
